We pull together all aspects of your wedding from location to entertainment and guest activities while on Maui. We are here to listen to what you envision for your wedding day and provide the means to make your vision a reality. With over 30 years of combined experience in the islands we know Maui and what it has to offer. We have orchestrated hundreds of parties, weddings and special events over the years. Blue Sky Weddings was started in 1999 in response to an avalanche of requests for wedding reception catering and wedding planning. We have been in the restaurant, party planning and catering business in Maui for over 18 years.
Blue Sky Weddings features events and weddings in private, luxurious settings. Our Hawaiian wedding sites are all elegant, tropical, and unique, such as private homes, estates, and luxury hotels. Gabrielle Longhi - FounderMs Longhi has a background in food, fine art and film production. Her experience planning myriad weddings, extensive knowledge of fine food, wine and etiquette combined with her creative vision and contacts in the islands helps you plan your ideal wedding. What we do at Blue Sky WeddingFind you the perfect location. Provide detailed budget planning. Co-create style and decor. Locate and assist with vendors and contracts (caterers, rentals, tents, musicians, photographers, etc.) Help with etiquette, menu cards, place cards, favors, appointments. Make your phone calls, provide counsel and advise. Find you the perfect photographer. Assist with floral design. Assist with menu planning and catering details. Coordinate transportation. Supervise vendors. Direct your wedding rehearsal and organize your wedding party. Coordinate your wedding ceremony. Manage the timing of events with your family, wedding party and vendors. Coordinate all aspects of your wedding, logistics and timing. During the process of your wedding from planning to wedding day we are here for you to talk with. We will arrange all aspects of your wedding and have the details worked out and nailed down well in advance of your wedding day. During the week of your wedding we put everything in place making sure every vendor comes through as promised. On your wedding day we are the first to arrive and the last to leave, leaving you and your family free to enjoy your special day and the beautiful Hawaiian islands. Julie Thompson - Director of EventsJulie Thompson is our on site coordinator and director of events. Julie has worked with Blue Sky Weddings since 2006 starting off in our floral design department then soon moving to on site event coordination. Julie grew up in Maui where she has chosen to stay, marry and raise a family. Julie has been on site for all Blue Sky Weddings since 2007. She is an expert in directing the wedding rehearsal, day of coordination, vendor liaison and managing the timing and logistics of the wedding and reception. Carol O'Leary - Maui CateringOur catering service is the finest on Maui. Carol O'Leary is a master chef who attended the renowned Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. Carol was the chef at Longhi's Lahaina and Longhi's Wailea. She also supervised the opening of the Longhi's location in Honolulu. Carol opened her own catering company on Maui in 1995. She has catered numerous weddings, affairs and events, dazzling guests with her outstanding cuisine. Carol has a sophisticated palette and creative menu ideas to suit your wedding or special event.
